Step into a hands-on role supporting critical mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and technology installations across Houston-area school projects. Based out of the Westchase office, this MEP Construction Inspector opportunity blends field visibility, construction problem-solving, and clear communication with a team that values quality and safety.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this MEP Construction Inspector position include:
- Strong construction-process knowledge with GC construction inspection experience as a strong target background.
- Ability to read and understand mechanical, electrical, and plumbing drawings/design documents.
- Electrical knowledge is the most important discipline and preferred if not required.
- Ability to recognize installation issues before work is concealed/closed in.
- Perform field inspections of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, technology, and security installations.
- Significant school-project exposure, with comfort working in active construction environments.
- Effective written and verbal communication; Spanish fluency is a plus.
- Use Fieldwire for inspection and progress reporting (training provided).
Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
