Description
Advance defense technology with real-world impact from Franklin, MA, supporting advanced mission systems across concept, proposal, prototype, production, integration, and sustainment. As the Mechanical Engineer, you’ll serve as a hands-on technical leader and mechanical engineering technical authority across multiple programs, helping mature engineering processes and drive design excellence.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Mechanical Engineer position include:
- 7+ years of mechanical engineering leadership experience; 12+ years preferred
- Mechanical engineering leadership experience across the product lifecycle, including prototype-to-production transition
- Engineering change management and configuration control experience
- Ability to create structure in ambiguous environments
- Proficiency with PTC Creo and/or SolidWorks
- Technical drawing, modeling, and GD&T/ASME Y14.5 experience
- Lead mechanical design, integration, product support, and full product lifecycle activities
- Perform tolerance analysis, manufacturability assessments, and design trade studies; interface with customers, suppliers, and manufacturing partners
Salary: $160,000 - $200,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
