Description
Manufacturing Outside Sales Manager opportunity in Suffern, NY! This is an exciting chance to join a well-established process equipment supplier with 30+ years of industry presence, a unique product line, and a strong reputation serving pharmaceutical, food and beverage, chemical, engineering, and manufacturing clients throughout the Northeast. This small, specialized team offers the ability to work remotely across Philadelphia, Southern New Jersey, and surrounding regional markets while representing high-quality industrial processing products at trade shows and directly with key customers.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Manufacturing Outside Sales Manager position include:
- Outside sales experience in industrial processing, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, food and beverage, chemical, or related technical product industries.
- Ability to manage and grow a Northeast territory based on past sales activity, with a target of bringing in approximately $500k in sales your first year.
- Experience working with engineering firms, pharmaceutical companies, manufacturers, and industrial processing companies.
- Strong ability to generate, follow up on, and close daily leads while maintaining long-term customer relationships.
- Knowledge of process components, fittings, valves, washdown equipment, sight glasses, manways, process lighting, or similar industrial products is preferred.
- Ability to represent the company at trade shows, including craft brewery and processing industry events.
- Comfortable working remotely while covering regional markets including Philadelphia, Southern New Jersey, and surrounding Northeast territories.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to complete interviews, reference checks, background checks, and speak with multiple team members during the hiring process.
Salary: $125,000 - $150,000 per year, commensurate with experience, plus bonus based on sales.
Benefits: This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers great benefits including a car allowance of approximately $600 per month, $50 monthly cell phone allowance, 50% employer-paid healthcare, and a 401k.
