A growing residential construction company is seeking a Lead Carpenter in Cartersville, GA, with most work performed throughout the Atlanta metro area. This is a great opportunity for a hands-on carpenter and working foreman to lead quality remodel and addition projects while growing with a team that values craftsmanship, accountability, and doing the work right.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Lead Carpenter position include:
• 3-5+ years of carpentry experience in residential remodeling, renovation, or additions
• Lead a small crew of 2–4 people while working hands-on in the field daily
• Perform rough and finish carpentry including framing, trim, cabinetry, doors, windows, built-ins, and general finish work
• Read and interpret plans, elevations, and construction details
• Manage daily site logistics including material staging, tool management, cleanliness, and sequencing
• Coordinate with subcontractors, verify work quality, and maintain project standards
• Communicate daily with the Project Manager regarding progress, material needs, and jobsite issues
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ownership of basic hand and power tools
Salary: $25 - $35 per hour, commensurate with experience.
