Description
A Swiss-based high-tech manufacturer is hiring a Tool and Die Maker in Pennsauken, NJ, offering the chance to join a global leader in precision elastomer components used in critical healthcare, transportation, electronics, industrial, and food and beverage applications. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on toolroom professional to support a highly specialized manufacturing environment where quality, safety, and precision directly impact products used around the world.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Tool and Die Maker position include:
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on tool and die experience in a manufacturing/toolroom environment
- Install, set up, remove, dismantle, reassemble, sharpen, and chamfer dies and molds
- Troubleshoot tooling, trimmer, die, equipment, and machinery issues to maintain production quality and efficiency
- Maintain required records for inspections, testing, maintenance, and repairs of molds and dies
- Follow SOPs, GMP, safety regulations, work instructions, and quality procedures
- Ability to read, write, and speak English and perform basic arithmetic and computer skills
- Ability to use precision measuring equipment and safely operate a pallet jack
- Must be comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with prolonged standing, lifting up to 60 lbs, and required PPE
Salary: $35.93/hour currently; increasing to $36.83/hour in July, commensurate with experience.
Benefits: This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers great benefits including medical coverage at approximately $100/month for a single person, a $300 deductible, $700 out-of-pocket maximum, 1 week of vacation after the first year and 1,040 hours worked, 40 hours/5 days of sick time, 11 holidays, a pension with a company contribution of $1.20 per hour worked regardless of employee contribution, dental coverage at approximately $2-$10/month, vision included at no additional cost, weekly pay, and frequent overtime opportunities paid at time-and-a-half.
