Description
An exciting opportunity is available for a Structural CAD Drafter / Draftsperson in Winter Haven, FL with a growing structural engineering firm that has been serving Florida clients for more than 25 years. This is a great opportunity to work directly with Structural Engineers and Professional Engineers on commercial, multifamily, school, church, institutional, renovation, and new construction projects in a collaborative, community-focused environment.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Structural CAD Drafter / Draftsperson position include:
- Proficiency with AutoCAD required for preparing accurate structural construction drawings
- Revit experience preferred for supporting structural drafting projects
- Experience in structural drafting, architecture, engineering, or construction preferred
- Ability to draft structural steel, metal building systems, trusses, load-bearing walls, foundations, retaining walls, and building systems
- Associate degree, technical certification, or equivalent drafting experience preferred
- Prepare plans, details, sections, schedules, and construction documents from engineer markups and design concepts
- Collaborate with Structural Engineers and Professional Engineers throughout the design and revision process
- Strong attention to detail, communication skills, organization, and ability to interpret sketches, redlines, and markups
Salary: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
