Description
Bring your earthwork leadership to fast-moving projects across the Dallas-Fort Worth area, where safe field execution and strong crew coordination make a real impact. This Excavation / Earthwork Foreman opportunity is a hands-on role with growing commercial, industrial, multifamily, roadway, municipal/institutional, and federal work.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Excavation / Earthwork Foreman position include:
- 5+ years of hands-on earthwork, excavation, grading, or site construction experience, with proven experience leading field crews.
- Lead and coordinate excavation/grading crews, assign daily work, manage production and manpower, and monitor safety and quality.
- Read grading plans/blueprints and direct cut/fill, pad preparation, paving subgrade, drainage, rough/final grading, and compaction/moisture conditioning.
- Coordinate equipment and material movement, including effective use of excavators, dozers, loaders, compactors, and related earthmoving equipment.
- Maintain grades/elevations and identify field conditions that could affect production or quality.
- Communicate field issues and solutions with PMs, superintendents, and other field personnel; coordinate with subcontractors and inspectors as needed.
- Complete daily reporting, production documentation, timekeeping, and other required field paperwork.
- Train, develop, and hold crew members accountable for safety, quality, attendance, and productivity.
Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
