Description
Make a real impact supporting essential wastewater infrastructure while working with advanced Rockwell PLC systems and industrial networks. This Controls Engineer - Resident Site opportunity is based in St. Louis, MO, with primarily onsite work and field support across local treatment facilities and remote sites.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Controls Engineer - Resident Site position include:
- 3-5+ years of hands-on Rockwell PLC programming experience (ControlLogix / CompactLogix) using Studio 5000 / RSLogix 5000.
- ControlLogix / CompactLogix and Studio 5000 / RSLogix 5000 required.
- Working knowledge of industrial network communications, including EtherNet/IP and managed industrial switches.
- Develop, configure, test, and commission Rockwell PLC applications.
- Design, configure, and troubleshoot industrial network communications (including VLAN segmentation and device-level networking).
- Diagnose and resolve control system and network faults in the field to minimize process downtime.
- Support and, with training, develop GE Proficy iFIX HMI/SCADA applications.
- Perform onsite integration, startup, and commissioning at treatment plants, pump/lift stations, and remote sites.
Salary: $90K-$135K per year, commensurate with experience.
