Join a well-established South Florida construction firm as a Construction Superintendent in Miami, Florida, where you will play a key role in overseeing hospitality and multifamily projects that blend existing structures with new construction. With more than 20 years in business, this close-knit team has built a strong reputation for hotel renovations, residential buildings, and complex additions, making this an exciting opportunity for a hands-on leader with experience on 5-story+ buildings who wants to make a visible impact.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Construction Superintendent position include:
- 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent on commercial, hospitality, or multifamily construction projects
- Proven experience managing 5-story+ buildings and coordinating day-to-day field operations
- Lead all field activities, maintaining control of schedule, quality, and subcontractor coordination
- Coordinate tie-ins between existing structures and new construction, including sequencing to avoid trade conflicts
- Read and coordinate architectural, structural, MEP, and shop drawings to proactively resolve field conflicts
- Ensure compliance with plans, specifications, code requirements, safety standards, and quality expectations
- Produce daily and weekly progress reports with photos and schedule updates while coordinating inspections, consultants, and deliveries
- Bilingual English/Spanish, South Florida inspection knowledge, Miami-Dade code familiarity, and OSHA Certification are preferred
Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 per year, compensation is commensurate with experience.
