Join a fast-growing medical manufacturing company in Nesbit, MS as a CNC Lathe Programmer / Setup Machinist, where you’ll have the opportunity to make a major impact in a high-quality, fast-paced precision machining environment. This privately owned, ISO-certified facility has grown over 100% annually for the past three years, recently expanded its manufacturing space, and offers a rare 4-day work week with Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays off.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this CNC Lathe Programmer / Setup Machinist position include:
- 3+ years of Mastercam programming experience and 5+ years of CNC lathe machining experience
- Experience with CNC setup, programming, running parts, turning operations, and training operators
- Medical manufacturing experience preferred; ISO 13485 environment exposure is a plus
- Program using Mastercam CAD/CAM, G-Code, and M-Code for CNC turning and lathe operations
- Set up and operate 2-axis lathes and live-tooling machines with 3rd and 4th axis capabilities
- Manage 4-5 machines within the lathe cell while maintaining quality and production standards
- Read blueprints, plan machining operations, troubleshoot issues, and optimize workflows
- Train and mentor operators while supporting leadership responsibilities within the shop
Salary: $75,000 - $90,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
