Description
Bring your machining expertise to a close-knit, long-term team in the Houston area at a veteran-owned hydraulic repair and service provider built on quality workmanship and technical know-how. In this CNC Lathe Machinist opportunity in Hitchcock, TX (about 30 minutes southeast of Houston), you’ll set up and run a Romi CNC lathe to produce precision hydraulic components with tight tolerances.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this CNC Lathe Machinist position include:
- 5+ years of CNC lathe machining experience
- Experience operating a Romi CNC lathe or similar turning center
- Proficiency with Fanuc Conversational and Manual Guide controls
- Strong experience with G-code setup and program editing
- Experience performing threading operations and maintaining tight I.D. and O.D. tolerances
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and use precision measuring instruments
- Ability to work independently with strong mechanical aptitude
- Set up and operate the CNC lathe, perform inspections, and maintain a clean, safe work area while supporting production schedules and quality standards
Salary: $25-$30/hr + Overtime
