Bring your AutoCAD expertise to a fast-growing kitchen and bath environment in the northern Chicago suburbs where design details turn into real, build-ready cabinetry and millwork. In this CAD Drafter – Custom Cabinetry opportunity, you’ll support designers with accurate drawings and help ensure projects move smoothly from measurements to ordering.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this CAD Drafter – Custom Cabinetry position include:
- 3+ years of kitchen and bath CAD drafting experience specifically involving custom cabinetry and/or architectural millwork (AutoCAD required).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD to produce detailed, production-ready drawings.
- Ability to translate designer-provided field measurements into accurate technical drawings.
- Experience working with custom cabinetry and millwork specifications, dimensions, and layouts.
- Coordinate order details to help ensure cabinetry is ordered accurately.
- Review drawings and order information to catch dimensional or specification issues before submission.
- Communicate with designers and team members to resolve missing or conflicting information.
- Work onsite every day and maintain strong accuracy as project volume increases.
Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
