Bring your CNC expertise to a long-standing, small-shop manufacturer in Streetsboro, OH, where custom and established work keeps the work interesting and the expectations clear. This CNC Programmer/Operator opportunity supports a hands-on, problem-solving environment with machining across mills and lathes, including multi-axis capabilities.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this CNC Programmer/Operator position include:
- 5+ years of CNC machining/programming experience (regulated industry preferred).
- Strong CNC programming skills with the ability to write or modify G-code for Fanuc-controlled equipment.
- Ability to program, set up, and operate CNC mills and lathes, including multi-axis equipment.
- Experience with 4-axis, 5-axis, or multi-axis CNC equipment such as X/Y/Z/C or B-axis turning centers.
- Ability to read blueprints and follow written and verbal instructions, including AutoCAD and SolidWorks drawings.
- Experience setting up tools, chucks, and attachments and verifying settings via first-run parts and measurement.
- Strong inspection capability using precision measuring instruments to maintain tolerances and troubleshoot issues.
- Ability to work independently, participate in problem solving and continuous improvement, and support both CNC and manual machining as workload requires.
Salary: $52,000 - $72,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
