This General Manager opportunity oversees day-to-day operations from sales handoff through final payment, building accountability and momentum across the entire project lifecycle.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this General Manager position include:
- 7–10 years of proven leadership managing a $5M–$10M+ high-volume, permit-based exterior construction operation.
- Required track record managing high-volume projects and associated staff, with experience coordinating permitting and production.
- Ability to lead, delegate, and manage diverse teams and trade partners effectively.
- Proficiency in reading construction plans, structural details, and product installation specifications.
- Strong multi-tasking, organizational, and conflict-resolution skills to keep projects moving on schedule.
- Ensure quality and safety by executing work strictly to plan, safely, and correctly to endure.
- Monitor job costs against projections and escalate cost variations over 10%; approve select purchase orders up to $1,000 above projections.
- Own operational flow and customer satisfaction by coordinating scheduling, site execution, QC checklists, wrap-up, warranty, and final payment.
Salary: $115,000 - $145,000 per year, commensurate with experience and bonus with possibility up to $240,000.
Benefits: Company truck; 85% of health insurance premiums covered; 4% 401(k) match after one year; PTO negotiable up to three weeks.
