Description
Bring your hands-on process and technology expertise to a fast-paced aerospace manufacturing environment where quality, safety, and scale-up reliability matter every day. In this Technology Development Engineer opportunity, you’ll help discover, evaluate, develop, and integrate advanced manufacturing and process technologies at a location in Schneller (specific site not confirmed), reporting to the Process Engineering Manager.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Technology Development Engineer position include:
- Real-world engineering and/or process development experience.
- Prior experience working with chemicals in a laboratory or production environment.
- Experience interacting with process control and data collection systems, including connecting sensors or analytical equipment using communication protocols.
- Ability to learn unfamiliar technologies and apply technical concepts to drive practical manufacturing improvements.
- Hands-on troubleshooting of quality defects, equipment, processes, and product issues, with comfort working close to the manufacturing floor.
- Experience executing experiments and using a scientific approach (e.g., design of experiments, data collection/analysis, and sound conclusions).
- Strong data analysis, process capability, and structured problem-solving skills to expand data collection and support predictive tools for scale-up.
- Working knowledge of production materials, quality methods, and color standards, with a commitment to quality standards and the Business Management System (BMS).
Salary: $115k-$130k per year, commensurate with experience.
