Bring your hands-on technical skills to a mission-critical manufacturing environment where your work directly keeps specialized equipment running for customers across the Midwest. In this Traveling Field Service Technician opportunity based around Toledo, OH, you’ll be the front-line problem solver supporting battery manufacturing equipment, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and commissioning across multiple facilities.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Traveling Field Service Technician position include:
- 2-3 years of hands-on experience troubleshooting, maintaining, repairing, or installing industrial machinery.
- Service, troubleshoot, and maintain specialized battery manufacturing equipment.
- Install machines and upgrades, then perform commissioning for machines and upgrades.
- Train operators and provide customer-facing support while representing BM-Rosendahl professionally.
- Read and interpret electrical and pneumatic diagrams and technical equipment manuals.
- Ability to read/understand Rockwell PLC programs preferred.
- Work independently, manage your daily schedule while traveling, and coordinate tasks with customers and BM-Rosendahl.
- Follow strict safety, PPE, hygiene, and health-monitoring requirements for a lead-acid battery manufacturing environment.
- A valid passport and willing to travel internationally as needed, specifically in Austria for training
Salary: $75,000 per year plus overtime and travel pay
Benefits: 401(k), health insurance, and 10 days PTO to start, plus a $80/day travel allowance.
