In this Lead CNC Machinist / CAM Programmer opportunity, you’ll play a key role in establishing Talon Lab and owning machining work long term.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Lead CNC Machinist / CAM Programmer position include:
- 10+ years targeted experience (open to candidates with 5+ years); CNC mill experience required; 3+2 and 5-axis experience required; aerospace manufacturing preferred
- Independently program, set up, and operate CNC mills for prototype and small-batch work
- Proficiency with Mastercam, Fusion, NX, or similar CAM software
- Ability to take a drawing or CAD model through planning, tooling/workholding selection, toolpath programming, first-part prove-out, and inspection
- Design and make fixtures, soft jaws, and other workholding as needed
- Prove out new programs and troubleshoot dimensional accuracy, surface finish, tool wear, chatter, and setup issues
- Inspect parts against drawings and GD&T requirements, selecting appropriate measurement methods
- Document repeatable manufacturing recipes including programs, setup sheets, tools, fixtures, offsets, inspection plans, and revision history
Salary: $180,000 - $220,000 per year and added equity, commensurate with experience.
