Calibration Technician is a great opportunity to inspect, test, maintain, and repair precision electronic equipment while partnering closely with engineering to support continuous product improvement in a hands-on manufacturing environment.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Calibration Technician position include:
- Minimum one year of calibration experience (some of which can be offset by formal metrology training) and minimum 2+ years of hands-on manufacturing experience in a similar environment.
- Calibrate new and existing instruments using established procedures.
- Maintain secondary and/or working calibration standards.
- Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of precision equipment using electronic test equipment and procedures.
- Collect, compile, measure, summarize, and record calibration data.
- Identify out-of-tolerance conditions and perform corrective action via adjustments, component replacement, correction factors, etc.
- Prepare calibration reports and certificates.
- Administrative functions including shipping and receiving, data entry, and purchasing.
Salary: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour.
