Join a fast-growing, privately held system integrator as a Controls Engineer in Roscoe, IL, supporting major food, beverage, pharmaceutical, and consumer product clients across the U.S. This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex integrated production systems with a company known for nearly 25 years of technical expertise, strong employee benefits, and continued expansion.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Controls Engineer position include:
- 5+ years of experience programming, installing, starting up, and debugging integrated production systems
- Strong knowledge of Allen-Bradley PLC/PAC platforms and FactoryTalk View HMI programming
- Experience with food, beverage, pharmaceutical, or consumer products systems preferred
- Ability to read AutoCAD P&ID drawings and troubleshoot 480V, 110V, and low-voltage control systems
- Develop, edit, test, debug, and validate PLC and HMI programs for integrated systems
- Support I/O lists, electrical schematics, startup, commissioning, and customer training
- Provide ongoing technical troubleshooting support after system startup
- Ability to travel at least 50% across the continental U.S.
Salary: $75,000 - $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
