This Mechanical Equipment Designer opportunity is ideal for an engineer who enjoys taking projects from concept through quoting, inspection, and completion—working closely with the shop floor and a controls engineer.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Mechanical Equipment Designer position include:
- Ideally 3+ years of mechanical engineering or mechanical design experience.
- Experience designing industrial manufacturing equipment.
- Develop custom mechanical designs from concept through manufacturing.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
- Develop mechanical designs for custom industrial manufacturing equipment.
- Create and revise equipment models and drawings using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
- Collaborate with shop-floor personnel during manufacturing and with a controls engineer on automation integration.
- Support projects through quoting, design, inspection, and completion, with primary responsibility focused on mechanical design.
Salary: $70,000 - $75,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
