A trusted, family-owned commercial HVAC/R and foodservice equipment service company is seeking a Commercial HVAC/R Technician in Tallahassee, FL. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Commercial HVAC/R Technician position include:
- 2+ years of experience in HVAC, refrigeration, commercial kitchen equipment, beverage equipment, or related field service repair
- EPA Universal Certification, valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and ability to pass a background check and drug screen required
- Service and repair commercial HVAC units, refrigeration systems, ice machines, beverage equipment, and restaurant/commercial kitchen equipment
- Perform occasional installations and retrofit projects as needed
- Troubleshoot equipment issues independently while maintaining professionalism with clients
- Complete approximately 3 to 5 service calls per day, with most work concentrated locally in Tallahassee
- Work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with overtime and on-call rotation expected based on experience
- Candidates with basic HVAC/refrigeration knowledge or recent trade school graduates may be considered if willing to learn
Salary: $25 - $42 per hour, commensurate with experience.
