This Traveling Superintendent (Healthcare/Commercial) opportunity is based out of Florida or Maryland (with national East Coast projects) and offers the chance to lead highly technical medical imaging construction projects that directly impact patient care. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Traveling Superintendent (Healthcare/Commercial) position include:
- 5+ years of commercial construction experience (healthcare highly preferred) – Lead all onsite field operations from mobilization through project closeout
- Experience managing projects up to $3M and 12,000–14,000 sq ft – Oversee scheduling, sequencing, and subcontractor coordination
- Willingness to be hands-on in the field – Perform light demolition, drywall, ceilings, partitions, concrete work, and finish installations as needed
- Proficiency with Procore and Bluebeam – Maintain daily reports, documentation, and quality control processes
- Strong knowledge of healthcare construction protocols – Coordinate shielding, HVAC, electrical, and OEM equipment installations
- Ability to manage 100% travel (East Coast focus) – Travel to project sites with bi-weekly home visits on longer assignments
- Strong leadership and communication skills – Conduct site meetings, enforce safety standards, and maintain client relationships
- OSHA compliance and safety-focused mindset – Maintain clean, organized, and regulation-compliant jobsites
Salary: $100,000 - $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
