Qualifications and responsibilities for this Roof Truss Designer position include:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in roof truss design for single-family and multi-family residential projects
- Proficiency with Alpine Software (ITW) preferred; MiTek experience acceptable
- Strong understanding of building codes and construction practices
- Ability to create accurate and detailed technical drawings
- Collaborate with project managers and design teams to ensure structural integrity and client expectations
- Interpret project specs and ensure compliance with engineering standards
- Communicate with clients, contractors, and engineers to refine and support truss designs
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is a plus, but not required
Salary: $60,000 - $90,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
