Step into a high-impact leadership opportunity as a Manufacturing Operations Manager in New Troy, Michigan with a highly automated Tier 1 automotive supplier experiencing aggressive growth. This is a standout chance to lead operations for a company that designs and builds its own automation in-house, operates more than 140 CNC machines and 70+ Fanuc robots, and offers strong long-term advancement as it targets major expansion across its facilities.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Manufacturing Operations Manager position include:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum five years of operations leadership experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment; automotive experience strongly preferred
- Direct and oversee all manufacturing operations, including labor planning, production scheduling, and material control
- Drive Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives across safety, quality, cost, and delivery
- Build, develop, and manage the operations leadership team while strengthening employee relations
- Oversee operational budgeting, training programs, and policy compliance, including applicable regulatory requirements
- Ensure production meets quality standards, customer specifications, and on-time delivery goals
- Lead problem-solving efforts and support long-range operational planning in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Salary: $120,000 - $160,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
