Join a rapidly growing wastewater and process systems company as a Mechanical Designer in Wausau, WI, where you will help shape plant layouts, piping systems, and treatment solutions that support cleaner, safer industrial water discharge. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Mechanical Designer position include:
- 5+ years of experience ideally in mechanical design, with specific experience in the wastewater field
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Plant 3D required, with Autodesk product experience including AutoCAD and Inventor
- Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in mechanical design or a related field
- Strong understanding of plant layout, piping systems, pumps, blowers, and wastewater treatment process environments
- Draft P&ID diagrams and create detailed 3D layouts for skidded process systems and treatment plants
- Prepare engineering approval drawings, budgetary quotations, and bills of materials
- Support fabrication supervision, design reviews, and occasional site visits to check existing conditions
- Collaborate with engineering, vendors, and customers throughout engineering, installation, commissioning, and startup
Salary: $75,000 - $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
