Qualifications and responsibilities for this Structural Engineer position include:
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required; perform structural analysis and design for commercial and retail building projects
- Minimum 5–8+ years of structural engineering experience; produce structural calculations, drawings, and construction documentation
- Proficiency with structural design software including RISA-3D, RISA Floor, and RISA Foundation; analyze structural systems and select appropriate components
- Experience with Revit, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Excel; prepare models, drawings, and engineering documentation
- Strong knowledge of building codes and structural engineering principles; ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Ability to collaborate directly with architects, contractors, and project teams; contribute to design decisions and project coordination
- Comfortable performing detailed production and design work with the opportunity to grow into project leadership and management
- Occasionally attend job site visits and project meetings; support problem solving on unique or complex structural challenges
Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
