Description
Bring your structural engineering expertise to a mission-driven, Midwest heavy civil team delivering complex bridge and infrastructure work with strong safety and ethics at the core. This Senior Structural Engineer opportunity is based in Waukesha, WI, where you’ll contribute to real-world projects across access, demolition, and construction phases in a collaborative engineering and construction environment.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Senior Structural Engineer position include:
- 6-15 years of structural engineering experience with heavy civil and/or construction engineering knowledge
- PE license REQUIRED; bachelor’s in Civil Engineering or related field with structural emphasis preferred
- Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record
- Knowledge of heavy civil and/or construction engineering theories and principles
- AutoCAD knowledge required; Civil 3D, Midas Civil, RISA-3D, CivilTech Shoring, and CivilTech AllPile preferred
- Assess, model, and analyze complex steel, concrete, and timber structures in all phases of access, demolition, and construction
- Design falsework and formwork; engineer temporary and permanent earth retention systems
- Develop critical lift and jacking plans; prepare clear drawings for fabricators and field operations; support engineering issue resolution with Construction and Project Managers
Salary: $130K-$175K per year, plus bonus, commensurate with experience.
