Join a well-established construction team known for delivering high-end interior build-out projects across New Jersey and New York City, with expertise in complex work performed in active and occupied environments. This Senior Project Manager opportunity is based in NYC/NJ and is an exciting chance for an experienced construction professional to lead impactful commercial interior projects while working in one of the most fast-paced and rewarding markets in the country.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Senior Project Manager position include:
- 10-15+ years of experience in interior construction, including commercial interiors, tenant improvements, and fit-out projects
- Manage multiple interior construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
- Deep understanding of interior build-out scope in active and occupied environments
- Oversee budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and overall project performance
- Familiarity with NYC building requirements, codes, permitting, and inspection processes
- Lead coordination across trades, review RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
- Proven ability to maintain strong client relationships while identifying and mitigating project risks
- Support project delivery by ensuring quality, safety, compliance, and mentoring junior project staff
Salary: $140,000 - $180,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
