Build your future with a hands-on engineering team delivering high-impact commercial and industrial HVAC and mechanical construction projects from concept through completion. In this Senior Mechanical Engineer opportunity, you’ll help lead multiple projects at once while partnering closely with owners, contractors, and site teams across construction environments.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Senior Mechanical Engineer position include:
- 10+ years of experience in the consulting/HVAC construction industry (7–10 years: $100K–$130K; 10+ years: $140K+).
- BSME required; strong commercial/industrial HVAC design and mechanical construction experience.
- Preferred: PE license with a current NCEES record.
- Design and construction document development for HVAC systems including chillers, rooftop units, piping, and ductwork.
- Proficient with AutoCAD, Revit, MS Office, MS Project, and Trane Tracer Program; Excel and Word proficiency.
- Familiar with applicable mechanical/building codes and standards including NFPA, ASHRAE, IBC, ASME, ASPE, NEC, and related requirements.
- Own engineering and construction projects from conception through completion; prepare design/construction/bid documents, proposals, estimates, drawings, specifications, and procedures.
- Manage budgets, schedules, staff, quality, and profitability while assisting construction projects and conducting owner/contractor meetings and site visits.
Salary: $100,000 - $130,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
