In Arlington, TX, this Press Brake Setup Operator opportunity puts you at the center of in-house production, working with a full metal shop to turn high-quality designs into real parts.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Press Brake Setup Operator position include:
- 3-5 years of hands-on press brake experience, with the ability to independently handle setup, tooling, bend deductions, blueprint interpretation, and bend sequencing.
- Set up, operate, and maintain CNC or manual press brake machines.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders.
- Select correct tooling, dies, and machine settings for each job.
- Program bends and steps directly at the machine (not solely via engineering push instructions).
- Measure and inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, tape measures, and other precision tools; complete first-piece and in-process inspections.
- Troubleshoot and adjust settings to maintain dimensional accuracy and product quality.
- Follow safety procedures and PPE requirements; lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods in a manufacturing shop.
Salary: $23-$28 per hour, depending on skill level.
Benefits: Health, dental, and vision insurance; accrued PTO, with one week after one year and two weeks after two years.
