A fast-growing, newly acquired HVAC company in the Farland–Mesquite–Forney–Rockwall area is seeking a Master HVAC Technician / Licensed Qualifier for a rare long-term opportunity with leadership potential. This role is ideal for a highly skilled commercial and residential HVAC professional who wants to help modernize an established business, become the qualifying professional for the company, and potentially earn a meaningful ownership stake while supporting a strong, year-round workload.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Master HVAC Technician / Licensed Qualifier position include:
- 7+ years of verifiable HVAC experience and eligibility to take the ACR licensing test; serve as the technical leader and qualifying professional for the business
- TDLR Certified technician background; pursue licensure with company-sponsored training and support
- Strong commercial HVAC experience; install, maintain, and troubleshoot RTUs from 6 to 25+ tons and larger systems in the field
- Practical knowledge of advanced residential systems; work with heat pumps, variable speed systems, VRV/VRF mini-splits, Internet-connected equipment, and multi-zone systems
- Understanding of ventilation, air purification, ERV, make-up air, ductwork design, thermal load calculations, airflow, Manual J, and 24V controls; apply technical expertise to real-world commercial and residential environments
- Experience with building management systems and FSM software; support operational improvements as the company transitions to more modern systems
- Excellent mechanical diagnostic, estimating, quoting, customer communication, and subcontractor coordination skills; help drive service quality and customer confidence
- Ability to work at heights up to 40 feet and climb ladders; support service, maintenance, and installation work across commercial and residential sites
Salary: $45 - $55 per hour, commensurate with experience.
