Construction Accountant is a great opportunity to join a family-run development and construction team in Las Vegas, NV where you’ll work on meaningful land development, dental office, and retail center projects. This fully in-office role supports a small, collaborative accounting group and offers a relaxed culture with former general contractors who bring real-world construction experience to the work.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Construction Accountant position include:
• 2-5 years of construction accounting experience
• Required experience with AIA forms and AIA billing processes
• Must understand lien releases and related construction documentation
• Strong Excel skills
• QuickBooks experience
• Prepare and submit billing packets for construction and development projects
• Support accounts receivable and accounts payable processes as needed
• Collect, organize, and submit subcontractor change orders, and submit required documentation directly to project owners
Salary: $55k-$65k per year, commensurate with experience.
Benefits: Health insurance, 2 weeks PTO, and paid holidays; employee pays 75% of health insurance.
