An exciting opportunity is available for a Manufacturing Engineer in Union City, CA with a long-established contract manufacturer specializing in high-precision metal components for MedTech, aerospace, robotic surgery, and radiation therapy applications. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Manufacturing Engineer position include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required, with Mechanical Engineering preferred
- 5-8+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in contract manufacturing, medical device, aerospace, or CNC manufacturing
- Strong machining background with hands-on shop floor involvement
- Experience working with horizontal mills, vertical mills, lathes, and Swiss machines preferred
- SolidWorks experience preferred; Epicor ERP experience is a plus
- Collaborate closely with operations and manufacturing teams to improve processes and support production
- Quality Engineering candidates may be considered if willing to cross-train into manufacturing engineering
- Long-term employment history and strong communication skills highly preferred
Salary: $90,000 - $110,000+ per year, commensurate with experience.
