This Machine Operator Specialist opportunity is based in Houston, TX, supporting industrial manufacturing, metalworking, and tube production with a strong focus on safety, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Machine Operator Specialist position include:
- 5+ years of proven experience operating industrial machinery and metalworking
- 5+ years of proven experience working with high loads and overhead cranes (mandatory)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to independently set up, operate, and troubleshoot industrial manufacturing equipment
- Comfort reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, or schematics
- English proficiency required; Spanish proficiency preferred
- Set up and operate industrial machines according to production specifications and safety standards
- Monitor machine operations, make real-time adjustments, and perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance
- Troubleshoot malfunctions, maintain production logs and shift reports, and mentor junior machine operators as needed
Salary: $18–$23/hour (1st Shift), $19–$25/hour (2nd Shift), $21–$27/hour (3rd Shift), commensurate with experience.
