An exciting opportunity is available for an HVAC Technician in Fuquay-Varina / Triangle Area, NC with a growing, family-owned HVAC contractor known for strong customer service, quality workmanship, and energy-efficient heating and cooling solutions. This is a great opportunity for an experienced, reliable technician who enjoys working independently, serving residential and light commercial customers, and making a direct impact within a close-knit team.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this HVAC Technician position include:
- 3+ years of HVAC experience preferred, with HVAC troubleshooting, diagnostics, repair, service, and preventive maintenance experience required.
- EPA Section 608 Certification required.
- Residential and/or commercial HVAC experience preferred, with commercial experience strongly valued.
- Perform service calls, maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, inspections, system upgrades, and some HVAC installations.
- Assist with duct cleaning, duct installations, and occasional plumbing-related work based on customer needs.
- Complete local Triangle-area service calls, with busy-season workloads of 6-8 jobs per day depending on job type and experience.
- Provide strong customer-facing service while communicating professionally with customers and team members.
- Work independently from home dispatch using a company-provided vehicle, with paid time from departure to job.
Salary: $25 - $35 per hour, commensurate with experience.
Benefits: This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers great benefits including 5 days of PTO after a 6-month probationary period, plus 1 additional PTO day each year, with health insurance and 401k expected around August.
