An award-winning HVAC company in Statesboro, GA is seeking an HVAC Service Technician to join a trusted team that has been serving Southeast Georgia for over 30 years. Qualifications and responsibilities for this HVAC Service Technician position include:
- 3+ years of HVAC service and maintenance experience, with primarily residential and some light commercial work
- EPA Certification required, along with a current driver’s license and good driving record
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, maintain, clean, adjust, and repair HVAC systems; no installation work required
- Perform preventive maintenance, repair complete systems, and inspect condensation drain lines for proper drainage
- Respond to service calls, communicate with customers, describe repair options and costs, and obtain approval before completing work
- Document services, explain guarantees or warranties, collect and record fees, and keep supervisors informed of job progress
- Ability to use Android technology for communication and field reporting
- Must pass background check, drug test, and motor vehicle check, with willingness to participate in an on-call rotation
Salary: $20 - $35 per hour, commensurate with experience.
