An exciting opportunity is available for an HVAC Service Technician in Rumford, RI with a family-owned heating and air conditioning company that is actively growing its residential service department. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HVAC professional who wants room to grow, the ability to make an impact, and the chance to work with a close-knit team serving Rhode Island and southeastern Massachusetts.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this HVAC Service Technician position include:
- A few years of hands-on HVAC service and installation experience in residential heating and cooling
- EPA certification required; oil, gas, pipefitter, or refrigeration licenses are a strong plus
- Experience servicing and installing boilers, furnaces, air conditioning systems, water heaters, and related equipment
- Ability to work across all seasons and support residential customers throughout Rhode Island and southeastern Massachusetts
- Familiarity with Williamson, Weil-McLain, and Navien equipment is a plus
- Lead or support service and installation work while helping grow a developing HVAC service department
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule, with frequency varying by season
- Use Jobber for service operations, with training provided as needed
Salary: $30 - $40 per hour, commensurate with experience.
