Description
A stable, family-oriented commercial HVAC and refrigeration company serving the Northern Kentucky and Cincinnati Metro Area is seeking a Commercial HVAC/Refrigeration Service Technician to support commercial service and maintenance work across KY, OH, and occasional IN markets. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Commercial HVAC/Refrigeration Service Technician position include:
- 2+ years of commercial HVAC/refrigeration service experience required, with 10+ years preferred.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems.
- Service fast-food restaurants, RTUs, walk-in coolers/freezers, ice machines, and related commercial equipment.
- Complete approximately 2-5 service calls or jobs per day across Northern Kentucky, Cincinnati, and occasional Indiana service areas.
- Perform preventative maintenance to reduce downtime and improve equipment efficiency.
- Read blueprints, manuals, and schematics to identify issues and recommend repairs or replacements.
- Maintain service records, document work performed, and communicate service updates with customers and team members.
- Participate in an on-call rotation every 3 weeks and complete background check, MVR, reference, education/trade school, and license verification as applicable.
Salary: $28 - $42 per hour, commensurate with experience, with overtime potential
