Description
A growing building automation and HVAC controls installation contractor is seeking an HVAC Controls Technician in Milwaukee, WI. This is an exciting opportunity to join a stable union company that has never had layoffs, offers long-term career growth, and specializes exclusively in commercial BAS controls installation for schools, museums, remodels, and new construction projects.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this HVAC Controls Technician position include:
- Experience with BAS, HVAC controls, low-voltage controls, electrical installation, or commercial controls installation
- Install building automation systems, HVAC controls, wiring, conduit, and low-voltage control components on commercial projects
- Work on Siemens, Automated Logic, Trane, and similar control systems; Johnson Controls experience is a strong plus
- Support new construction, remodel, school, and public facility projects throughout the Milwaukee area
- Follow project phasing schedules and work with foremen, job runners, and installation crews across multiple jobsites
- Licensed Electricians, Electrical Journeymen, HVAC controls installers, and electricians with controls experience are encouraged to apply
- Must be open to occasional overnight travel, with per diem and lodging provided when required
- Opportunity to pursue schooling, licensure, union classification advancement, and maintenance tradesman pathways
Salary: $30 to $50 per hour, commensurate with experience.
