Join an exciting semiconductor construction project as a Deputy Construction Manager in Phoenix, AZ, supporting a major UPW construction scope for a high-profile advanced manufacturing facility. This is a great opportunity for a construction leader with commercial or semiconductor experience to work on complex water systems, collaborate with top-tier project teams, and play a key role in quality, cost, schedule, safety, and field execution.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Deputy Construction Manager position include:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial construction or semiconductor projects
- Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience with the ability to lead subcontractor teams
- Experience installing water systems with supporting mechanical, electrical, and control systems
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, schematics, BIM documents, and project documentation
- Support coordination of design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and closeout for UPW systems
- Assist with constructability reviews, schedule sequencing, recovery plans, RFIs, change orders, and critical path items
- Ensure compliance with codes, standards, OSHA safety protocols, master specifications, and quality expectations
- Collaborate with stakeholders, subcontractors, system owners, engineers, technicians, and trades while maintaining strong communication
Salary: Commensurate with experience.
