Description
Bring your estimating expertise to a growing, client-focused earthwork contractor making a real impact across the Dallas-Fort Worth market. In this Excavation Estimator opportunity, you’ll help build and lead the estimating function as the company expands its reach across federal, roadway, industrial, multifamily, subdivisions, commercial, and institutional projects.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Excavation Estimator position include:
- 3-7 years of estimating experience, with earthwork, sitework, or utilities preferred
- Prepare estimates and competitive bids for earthwork and related construction projects
- Review plans, specifications, quantities, and project requirements to develop accurate estimates
- Follow up on submitted bids and communicate with clients to help convert opportunities into awarded projects
- Develop and maintain relationships with contractors, clients, vendors, and other industry contacts throughout the DFW market
- Work closely with company leadership, Project Managers, and the operations team
- Visit project sites when needed; much of the estimating process can be completed from the office using tools such as Google Earth
- Help improve estimating processes, systems, and technology as the company scales
Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
