This Heavy Equipment Operator (Excavating) opportunity puts you on hands-on job sites—operating full-size equipment and contributing to site prep, trenches, and grading that keep projects moving.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Heavy Equipment Operator (Excavating) position include:
- 3+ years of heavy equipment operation; full-size excavator and deep trench box experience required
- Experience operating track loaders, dozers, and backhoes
- Safely operate heavy equipment including excavators, track loaders, dozers, and backhoes
- Ability to take direction, be hardworking, and dedicated
- Ability to handle physical workload, including heavy manual labor
- Primary focus on excavating job site prep, retention ponds, trenches, and rough/finish grading
- Ability to read blueprints is a plus
Salary: $20-$35/hour
Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision after 30 days; matched IRA after one year; 40 hours PTO after the first year (negotiable); and a developing incentive bonus program.
