Step into a hands-on role supporting automated chemical processing in St. Louis, MO, where your expertise will directly improve equipment reliability and production uptime. This Electro-Mechanical Technician opportunity offers broad exposure across industrial machinery, controls, and facility systems, along with a chance to help strengthen the preventive maintenance program.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician position include:
- Minimum 5+ years mechanical experience and 5+ years industrial/electrical experience.
- Strong electrical automation skills with demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, repair, install, and perform preventive maintenance.
- Experience with chemical processing equipment including pumps, vacuum systems, chillers, agitators/mixers, hot oil systems, and ovens.
- Solid understanding of plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot automated systems, including computer-controlled systems.
- Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance on all equipment and track findings; complete daily, weekly, and monthly checklists and maintain records.
- Repair and troubleshoot chemical processing and electrical equipment, including pumps, vacuum pumps, control circuits, wiring, switches, and refrigeration equipment; perform basic troubleshooting of PLCs and VFDs.
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests as required and support outside custodial duties when needed.
Compensation: $30/hr-$40/hr, commensurate with experience
