This Managing Director of Sales, Engineering & Service opportunity blends technical leadership with executive-level ownership, driving growth in precision measurement, service, and training.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Managing Director of Sales, Engineering & Service position include:
- 3–5 years of management experience and 3–5 years of customer-facing experience in sales, account management, or customer service.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering required.
- Strong metrology industry knowledge preferred, including experience supporting CMMs, optical vision systems, dimensional inspection equipment, and precision gaging tools.
- Lead technical sales and serve as a product expert by troubleshooting issues and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.
- Oversee Sales, Engineering, Service, Order Handling, and Project Management to improve and sustain customer satisfaction.
- Supervise the Service team with repair analysis, programming guidance, and technical support.
- Perform dimensional measurement inspection using in-house equipment to customer specifications; oversee equipment installation and customer training.
- Drive revenue growth through supplier coordination, networking, product line expansion, and new account acquisition.
Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 per year, plus bonus and commission opportunities
