Make your mark on commercial and industrial builds across the Des Moines area with a growing, hands-on team that needs a Project Manager who can take ownership from day one. In this Construction Project Manager opportunity in the Ankeny/Des Moines, Iowa area, you’ll coordinate the full project lifecycle with strong continuity from the development side and a culture that emphasizes in-office collaboration plus regular site visits.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Construction Project Manager position include:
- Proven experience independently managing commercial or industrial construction projects from start to finish.
- Direct experience managing construction projects valued between $1 million and $10 million.
- Proficiency with Procore for project documentation and management (highly preferred).
- Ability to manage budgets, cost tracking, forecasting, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and closeout activities.
- Strong understanding of construction planning, execution, scheduling, and deadline management.
- Experience coordinating subcontractors, field superintendents, owners, architects, engineers, and clients.
- OSHA 30 certification expected (or ability to obtain promptly).
- Willingness to work primarily from the Ankeny-area office when not on-site, with frequent local project site visits as needed.
Salary: $100,000 to $150,000 per year, depending on experience; may consider approximately $160,000 for an exceptional candidate with significant experience.
