Description
Step into a newly created, hands-on leadership role with a design-build organization in Skokie, IL that supports healthcare, commercial, and residential projects. In this Construction Controller opportunity, you’ll partner closely with the President/CEO while leading essential financial operations and job costing across a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Construction Controller position include:
- 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 5+ years in construction or commercial general contracting
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Advanced Excel proficiency and strong construction ERP experience
- Experience with job costing/WIP, billing, and AP/AR
- Lead financial reporting and oversee accounting operations across healthcare, commercial, and residential projects
- Manage cash management, controls, and day-to-day accounting processes
- Premier experience is preferred (Sage 300 CRE, Sage Intacct, Viewpoint, Spectrum, CMiC, Foundation, or Procore also relevant)
Salary: $130,000 - $160,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
