Description
A fast-growing space and defense manufacturer is seeking a CNC Programmer in Corona, CA to create complex programs for 3-axis and 5-axis CNC machines producing mission-critical aerospace, spacecraft, missile, hypersonic, and defense components. Qualifications and responsibilities for this CNC Programmer position include:
- Minimum 5 years of experience writing CNC programs in a machining environment, with 3-10 years of CATIA programming experience preferred.
- Strong CATIA software proficiency required, with a major plus for candidates who previously ran machines before moving into programming.
- Write, edit, and optimize CNC programs for 3-axis and 5-axis CNC machines producing aerospace parts.
- Create complex programs for milling, drilling, boring, and tapping while following machine and plant safety requirements.
- Work closely with program management, production, quality, engineering, and operations teams to support concept-to-production work.
- Maintain programs to current print and model revisions while supporting AS9100 quality requirements and product conformity.
- Experience with Haas, Mori, Fanuc controls, Siemens controls, mills, lathes, and strict machine shop environments is helpful.
- Must meet ITAR requirements; U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals, green card holders, refugees, or asylees may be considered, but sponsorship is not available.
Salary: $45 - $65 per hour, commensurate with experience.
