Join a growing advanced materials manufacturer as a CNC Machinist, Mill or Lathe or Both in Topton, PA! This is an exciting opportunity to work for a well-established, 100-person operation serving high-temperature and high-electrical-resistance graphite applications, now backed by new ownership since 2024 and offering strong potential for career growth in the years ahead.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this CNC Machinist, Mill or Lathe or Both position include:
- 2-3 years of CNC machining experience, with CNC mill experience strongly preferred; prepare and operate CNC machines for drilling, grinding, milling, and related machining tasks
- Experience with Mazak or Haas equipment preferred; translate instructions into computer commands so machines perform the correct functions
- Proficiency with Mastercam and knowledge of G-code programming desired; support accurate machine setup and operation
- Ability to read complex blueprints and understand GD&T; interpret specifications and mechanical drawings to achieve desired results
- Strong math skills, including working with decimals and fractions; verify dimensions and maintain precision throughout production
- Experience using measuring tools such as calipers and tape measures; perform test runs and confirm output meets specifications
- Team-oriented mindset with good interpersonal skills; maintain cleanliness in the work area and promote safety at all times
- High school diploma or GED preferred; prepare and load raw materials and parts while showing enthusiasm to learn new skills and techniques
Salary: $25.00 - $29.00/hr, commensurate with experience.
