Description
An exciting opportunity is available for an Asphalt Foreman in Longwood/Orlando, FL with a small, family-owned Central Florida pavement solutions company backed by more than 30 years of experience. This is a great opportunity to take charge of field operations, lead a close-knit crew, and help deliver high-quality asphalt repair, paving, sealcoating, striping, and pavement restoration projects for commercial properties, HOAs, municipalities, and residential communities.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Asphalt Foreman position include:
- 5+ years of experience in asphalt repair, paving, or a closely related construction field
- 1–2 years of leadership experience, such as Crew Leader or similar field leadership role
- High School Diploma or GED required; vocational training in construction or paving technology is a plus
- Supervise crew members, assign daily tasks, monitor progress, and ensure project specifications are followed
- Coordinate labor, materials, equipment, schedules, deliveries, and rentals to keep projects on track
- Oversee quality control for asphalt repair, paving, sealcoating, striping, and related work
- Conduct safety briefings, enforce safety protocols, and address accidents or near-misses appropriately
- Communicate with clients and management while tracking labor hours, materials, equipment use, and job site activity
Salary: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
