Description
This is an exciting opportunity for a Highway Asphalt Paving Superintendent in Idaho Falls, Idaho with a long-standing heavy civil construction company backed by the resources and stability of a global construction materials network. This vertically integrated team produces its own aggregates and asphalt while self-performing major paving and infrastructure work, giving this role strong project backlog, reliable support, and the chance to lead high-impact DOT highway and freeway projects.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Highway Asphalt Paving Superintendent position include:
- 5+ years of construction supervisor experience with strong asphalt paving experience
- DOT, highway, and freeway project experience preferred
- High school diploma or GED required
- Commercial Driver’s License required; traffic control certificate is a plus
- Supervise asphalt paving forepersons, crews, equipment, manpower, and daily field production
- Coordinate schedules with project managers, estimators, dispatchers, agencies, customers, and field teams
- Review plans, specifications, cost sheets, quantities, documentation, and project performance
- Enforce safety compliance and assist with equipment operation as needed at job site locations
Salary: Highly competitive base pay, commensurate with experience.
